Class C Driver

As a Class C Driver at JIT Transportation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and materials to our valued customers. You will be responsible for operating a Class C commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety standards.

1. Safely operate a Class C commercial vehicle, including box trucks, or vans, to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
2. Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
3. Load and unload cargo or merchandise securely to prevent damage during transit.
4. Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize driving time.
5. Adhere to all traffic laws, road signs, and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, other road users, and the cargo.
6. Maintain accurate records of each trip, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
7. Communicate effectively with  dispatchers, team members, and customers to provide updates on delivery progress and any potential delays.
8. Represent JIT Transportation in a professional manner, demonstrating excellent customer service skills during interactions with clients and the public.
9. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or special requests in a courteous and timely manner.
10. Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations immediately to the appropriate authorities and company management.
11. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
